______Chico Lima is a Brazilian performing artist and navigates through theater, dance, performance and its intersections. Graduated in Performing Arts at UNICAMP [2010], specialized in Laban/Bartenieff System at Faculdade Angel Vianna (Rio de Janeiro [2018]) and is currently doing a masters degree in Performing Arts at USP (São Paulo). He works in collaboration with different collectives in addition to developing his independent own work within Campo Fictício, a platform of artistic creation. He is a founding member of Cia. de Teatro Acidental and is part of Grupo NUA, which researches and creates based on the relationship between voice and movement. Chico Lima collaborates, since 2018, with Carolina Bianchi Y Cara de Cavalo, being part of the cast of the works LOBO [2018] and O Tremor Magnífico [2020]; and is also a guest dancer at Fandango a Céu Aberto [2012] piece by Cia. 8 Nova Dança.

______He took part in several residences and workshops, with highlights for: KiM (Kosmos in Movement), physical theater and experimental dance workshop at Isla del Sol, Bolivia [2009]; Muse9, Palucca Schule Dresden summer course through a grant from DAAD [2009]; and SMASH-Berlin, intensive workshop on experimental physical performance [2013]. He has worked with artists such as Marcelo Lazzarato (Mahagonny [2008] and Ensaio Sobre a Queda [2013]), Morena Nascimento (ANTONIA [2016] and Estudos para Clarabóia [2012]), Marcelo Evelin (Batucada [2016]) and Janaína Leite (Feminino Abjeto 2 - O Vórtice do Masculino [2019]).

______Campo Fictício is the name that the artist Chico Lima found to situate his independent creations in the same place, even if fictitious. A platform for research and creation in the performing arts that proposes the practical invention of artistic fictions, other possibilities of forms and worlds. Currently, the works Tentativas Contra o Vento (Attempts Against the Wind) [2015], Il Ritorno [2016] and ARAME (WIRE) [2018] are part of Campo Fictício.
